Directions

Below are directions to Spring Lake Park and Sea Girt Beach.  These are the 2 most common settings for location shoots.  Sea Girt directions are first, so if you want to get to the Spring Lake directions, you can click on the blue hyper link right below.

I work out of my home, so I do not post my address or provide directions to my home on the website.  I will email them to you directly.

Directions to Trenton Blvd. beach in Sea Girt:

FROM THE WEST: Take 195 East to end (it turns into Rt. 138). Follow signs for Rt. 35 South when road splits at the end. Go through 4 traffic lights, pass Brook 35 Plaza on your left (The Gap, Ann Taylor) and take a left at the next light onto Sea Girt Ave. Go through two traffic lights, then immediately over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE NORTH (LOCAL): Take Rt. 35 South toward Sea Girt. Pass Brook 35 Plaza on your left and go to the next traffic light and take a left onto Sea Girt Ave. Go through two traffic lights, then immediately over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE NORTH (FROM RT. 18): Take Rt. 18 South to the last exit for Rt. 138 East. Go through two traffic lights and follow signs for Rt. 35 South. At 5 th traffic light (just past Brook 35 Plaza on your left), take a left onto Sea Girt Ave. Go through two traffic lights, then immediately over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE NORTH (PARKWAY): Take Parkway South to Exit 98. Follow signs for Rt. 34 South. Go through traffic light then straight through the traffic circle. Go up and over a slight hill then follow right exit ramp for Sea Girt/Manasquan. Take a right at the end onto Atlantic Ave. Stay to the right at the fork. Go about a mile and go straight through another traffic circle to remain on Atlantic Ave. Go all the way to the end (just under a mile) and take a left onto Broad St . At traffic light, take a right onto Sea Girt Ave. Go through one light to cross over Rt. 71. Go immediately over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE SOUTH (LOCAL): Head up Rt 70 North. It will turn into Rt. 35 North when it intersects with Rt. 34. Remain on Rt. 35 and go through the Manasquan traffic circle. The next light will be Sea Girt Ave. Take a right. Go through two traffic lights, then immediately over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE SOUTH (Pt. Pleasant, Bayhead and South): Head up Rt. 35 North through Pt. Pleasant. Go over the Manasquan River bridge. Follow signs for Rt. 71 North. At 4 th traffic light, take a right onto Sea Girt Ave/Washington Blvd. Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.

FROM THE SOUTH (PARKWAY): Head north on Parkway to Exit 98 ( Wall Twp /Belmar/ Spring Lake ). Follow signs for Rt. 138 East. At first traffic light, take a right onto Allenwood Rd. Take a left about a half mile up (not even?) onto 18 th Ave. Take your 6 th right onto Bailey's Corner Rd. (it is a sharp turn). Go through one traffic light. You will wind around in a residential section. Once you pass Tilton's Corner Rd. on your right look out for Sea Girt Ave. Take a left on Sea Girt Ave. You will cross over Rt. 35 and Rt. 71. Go over RR tracks (the street has now turned into Washington Blvd and you are blocks from the beach). Go to the end of the road BUT DO NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LEFT, go to the stop sign and turn right. This will curve to the left and lead you right to Trenton Blvd. and the beach. Will meet you at the gazebo on the boardwalk.


Directions to Spring Lake Park in Spring Lake:

FROM THE WEST: Take 195 East to end (it turns into Rt. 138). Follow signs for Rt. 35 South when road splits at the end. At 3rd light, take a left onto Warren Ave. Go through one light (crosses over Rt. 71) and over RR tracks. At stop sign, take a left onto 5 th Ave. Take first right onto Passaic Ave. Go one block and park alongside the park. You will see a bridge over the lake to your right. I will meet you at the base of the bridge.

FROM THE NORTH (LOCAL): Take Rt. 35 South toward Spring Lake . Take a left onto Warren Ave. (by Eckerd). Go through one light (crosses over Rt. 71) and over RR tracks. At stop sign, take a left onto 5 th Ave. Take first right onto Passaic Ave. Go one block and park alongside the park. You will see a bridge over the lake to your right. I will meet you at the base of the bridge.

FROM THE NORTH (PARKWAY): Take Parkway South to Exit 98. Follow signs for Rt. 138 East. Take that road to the end and follow signs for Rt. 35 South. At 3rd light, take a left onto Warren Ave. Go through one light (crosses over Rt. 71) and over RR tracks. At stop sign, take a left onto 5 th Ave. Take first right onto Passaic Ave. Go one block and park alongside the park. You will see a bridge over the lake to your right. I will meet you at the base of the bridge.

FROM THE SOUTH (LOCAL): Head up Rt. 70 North. It will turn into Rt. 35 North when it intersects with Rt. 34. Remain on Rt. 35 and go through the Manasquan traffic circle. Go to the 3rd light and take a right onto Warren Ave. (by the Eckerd). Go through one light (crosses over Rt. 71) and over RR tracks. At stop sign, take a left onto 5 th Ave. Take first right onto Passaic Ave. Go one block and park alongside the park. You will see a bridge over the lake to your right. I will meet you at the base of the bridge.

FROM THE SOUTH (PARKWAY): Head north on Parkway to Exit 98 ( Wall Twp /Belmar/ Spring Lake ). Follow signs for Rt. 138 East. Take that road to the end and follow signs for Rt. 35 South.
