I went exploring today!  I was down in Toms River NJ looking for new places to take family portraits.  I was in Island Heights NJ near the Island Heights Yacht Club.  There is a nice boardwalk along the Toms River there that would be nice to take some "lifestyle" type portraits of kids or families walking along the river.  There are also docks to walk out on and a overhang with benches.  But as I was driving around I found a nice little spot off Holly Avenue by Cozy Cove Marina that was a gem!  Here is a picture of me taking a selfie.  You can't really see the view, but there are benches, there is a little beach, there are rocks and dune grass right on the edge of the water.  Also a little further east is a spot I think called Long Point at the end of Ocean Ave that might have an interesting view in one spot that looks like an old boat launch.  But I like the Holly Ave spot the best.

If anyone is interested in "testing" out any of these locations for your family portraits, please contact me.  I will give you 50% off your session and 50% off a wall portrait for helping me add a new location to my portfolio!  Fill out my contact form by  clicking here and mentioning this blog post!

I'm probably going to look back on this first post someday and make some comment about how lame it is.... but anyway... welcome to my blog! I have made a move to a new company with what I hope to be awesome features that will help my clients get to know me better and feel like they want to hire me to take pictures of their families. Today is the first full day of summer 2016 and I'm looking forward to photographing many of my regular clients as well as some repeat customers and new ones! For now, here is a picture of me and my kids from last summer. This was taken on Long Beach Island and I hope to get down there a lot to capture family memories this summer. First one will be next week!
